Do you long to get organized before the school year begins? It may not be at the top of your priorities, but organizing your fridge should. Your family spends a lot of time in the kitchen, and your refrigerator is where that happens. To help your family run smoothly, check out these fridge organization ideas.

Top Ideas to Organize Your Refrigerator

Shelf Mats: Protect your shelves and make them beautiful!

Use shelf mats to decorate your refrigerator. You’ll be surprised at how much you missed it.

Snack Bins: Keep them visible

Snacks are something we all enjoy. To make snacks, you can use old fridge drawers, bins, and baskets. The snack bin can be used to store snacks that your family enjoys eating. For things like carrots and celery, you can also include individual containers. It’s easy to find snacks that are ready-to-eat and pre-washed.

Lazy Susan: Easy Access for Every Item!

Do you find yourself reaching blindly into the refrigerator’s back to find the right item? Add a lazy Susan on the middle shelf of your refrigerator. This is the ideal storage solution to store small containers, sauces, etc. Simply place your items on the rotating tray and turn it until the item is in front of you. This clever organization hack for your refrigerator makes it easier to locate the foods that you use less often.

Bacon Keeper: Cold cuts are also stored!

A bacon keeper is a great way to organize your fridge. These are available at your local Walmart and Amazon. You can use a bacon keeper to keep your bacon fresher for longer. It’s also a great way to organize your fridge and make it easy to find lunch meats. To store bacon, cold cuts, or other cooked meats, a bacon keeper can be used to make sure they are ready to cook and/or consume.

Label Bins

Print on Peel & Stick or scrapbook letter stickers for label bins. It’s nice to have clearly labelled bins so you can easily see where everything is. You can do the same thing for your refrigerator. For personalized labels, you can use Peel & Stick paper or scrapbook letters that you can find at your local craft or office supply shop. This is a great tip to organize your refrigerator. This will ensure that your refrigerator items stay neat and organized. You’ll also enjoy looking at your labels, knowing everything is in its correct place.

Vacuum seal Raw Meats

Store at the bottom of your refrigerator to avoid cross-contamination
A Food Saver is a great investment. Vacuum-sealing food is a proven method of preserving freshness, especially meats. Meats can oxidize when they are exposed to oxygen, which can cause a change in the freshness and appearance of the food. The vacuum-seal method can prolong the life of meats, prevent oxidation, preserve meat juices, and prevent them from drying out. Vacuum sealing is not required. Meats should be kept on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator in a sealed pan/tray. This prevents any raw meat juices and other food from getting into the refrigerator.

You should make sure that your refrigerator works efficiently as part of your organizing plan.
